Indeed, senator Cacilya was right. Standing up, the tall Twi'lek spoke again into the microphone. "I agree with the senator of Corellia. Until some decent arguments are found on the case of the Hutts, who don't even care about what we say or do. I suggest we focus upon the Hapes Cluster." She looked down at her datapad, which was handed to her by her aide. Flipping through, she spoke again. "I think that after a break we should discuss the growing matter of smugglers in the Hapes system. The system lords are not that happy with it all." That said, she moved away from the microphone, sending a nod and one of her rare smiles towards Cacilya, before muttering something to her aide. So spice was a problem, but there were so many other things. She wished it would just...end. She then approached her microphone and spoke. "I propose we adjorn for a while, if not the ret of the day, to form more complete argue meants and decide if need to be worry at all about Hutt territory for now. I believe there are some issues on Balmorra as well as in the Hapes Cluster that has been looking for some of our attention for some time now," she said glancing at her datapad below her. "Perhaps we should resume affairs that will affect our people rather than a few cult lords who are smuggling spice for the time being." Again. For the third time in one hour. The Twi'Lek shook her head and masaged her brow, her red skin glowing in the Senate's light. Kessel again. The Hutts would probably laugh their heads off in hearing about this. As soon as her neighbour had settled, Venna spoke into the microphone. "I'm not sure if anyone of you noticed, but we've been fighting over the Intergalactic trading laws, specificly about the Kessel affair, for more than an hour. The Hutts there do not even listen to us, and would probably laugh if they knew what we were trying to do." The red Twi'Lek fell silent for a moment before continuing. "I suggest the problem is to be stated clearly. What exactly do we wish to do with Kessel? I believe that perhaps, with the help of our Jedi negotiators, we can solve this affair nicely." That said, and another bone thrown for the Senators to chew, Venna sat back down, her gaze travelling across the many faces in the Senate, lingering on a conversing pair (Cacilya and M'eyra) for a moment, before falling into deep thoughts. It is the time of the Old Republic, when Jedi are at their prime, and the Sith have been destroyed. We meet the various cultures of the Galaxy far, far away, and get the vague idea how Obi-Wan Kenobi came to be who he is. The AoTC takes off 10 years after the TPM has ended. Now, Padmé Amidala is no longer Queen of Naboo, but its Senator. The Galactic Republic is in crisis. We see the Jedi fight in huge numbers for the first, and last time. It also marks the start of the Clone Wars, in 22 BBY. Three years later, we meet with Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi again, at the Battle for Coruscant. Battles have errupted all over the Galaxy. Anakin has visions of his wife dying in childbirth, and, to save her, he becomes Darth Vader. The Galactic Republic becomes the Empire, with Palpatine, or Darth Sidious as its leader. Padmé gives birth to Luke and Leia, and passes away. We meet with the twins almost two decades later, with Leia as a leader in the Rebel Alliance, and Luke as a farmboy on Tatooine. Obi-Wan is now an old hermit, but still has enough in him to lead Luke to his destiny. Dart Vader, unknowing that Leia is his daughter, pursues the Princess of Alderaan and captures her. With the help of a smuggler Solo Luke rescues her, and they destroy the Death Star, the beginnings of which we can see at the end of Ep III. In Ep V, Luke learns of his true father and Han is Captured. The Rebel Alliance struggles to bring the Epire down, and succeeds in Ep VI, Return of the Jedi, with the death of Anakin Skywalker, the Chosen One, who kills himself and his master Sidious to save his son. The New Republic takes place, which is assaulted by the Yuuzhan Vong in 25 ABY. A New Jedi Order is established with Luke Skwylker as the Grand Jedi Master. There is a huge difference from the Old Order_ Jedi are allowed to marry. Han marries Leia, Luke marries Mara Jade; Han and Lei have three children, twins Jacen and Jaina, and Anakin, while Luke and Mara have one son Ben. The Legacy continues. The Hutts don't listen to the Senate anyways," she said with her arms crossed, gazing out at the others.
